On 31st May, on the feast of the visitation of Blessed Virgin Mary, novice brother Sagayaraj, made his Temporary profession into the hands of Fr. Lourdu Rajan, the delegate for India, in our formation community at Samayapuram, India. It was held in a Eucharistic celebration , participated by other fathers of the delegation, our missionary fathers in Indonesia and other fathers who have come for vacation from Italy to India, all of our seminarians and the family members of the novice. Fr.Delegate, in his homily, brought out Mary, as the ark of the New Covenant, brings nearer Jesus, the Redeemer, to the people whom she visits. A consecrated person needs this nearness of the Redeemer for his personal sanctification and his ministry of the salvation of souls. Then he went onto explain the rituals of profession and their meanings; the handing over the religious habit, which symbolizes the vows of poverty.obedience and chastity and giving of the Constitutions and rules, which is a handbook in his path to holiness and receiving the holy Rosary which reminds of our specific Marian Cult and which serves to remind that a Leonardian can't be without being a Marian. 2 giugno 2014
